The small maquette of Fly and the finished final sculpture are all assembled with recycled scrap metal and found objects. The process did not use my usual modeling and casting methods. Although welding metal and fabricating with found objects are not as innovative as they used to be, it was still a meaningful experiment for me to reuse and recycle materials.
