The Dream Seeker sculpture represented a lethargic feeling I had at the time. After six years of teaching and living in the Chicago area, my life was more settled down, but my heart was still burdened. In long sleepless nights, I recalled that the moments which brought me joy and happiness, were the moments right after the long struggles in creating artworks. My motivation is the fulfillment of my dreams. It always energizes me.
