Clouds

My most recent work, Clouds, confronts the synthesis and retention of ideas. The cloud is a spontaneous and ephemeral creation but for me because it represents imagination, thought, and now, in the digital age, the storage of ideas. My simple black and white sculpture creates permanent, fiberglass, artificial clouds. Though the clouds are fabricated, they still cast real shadows and create a truly good place to sit and think of new ideas.
