Springtime means warm breezes and sunny days – perfect weather for flying a kite. I wanted to express that sense of airiness and flight. Flying a kite is one of those activities that people often talk about, but never get around to doing. My sculpture Fly with the Wind allows the viewer to vicariously experience that sense of play.
