Row Your Boat accurately represents the concept and style of my sculpture artwork at that time. Some of the ideas for this piece came to me during the working process. To me, the pea pod holding peas symbolizes life and hope. The image imparts a feeling of fullness and richness, as well as lightness and simplicity. As sculpture, it is like a small boat floating freely in the world.
